A year ago, at the start of 2024, I decided to take some time to refocus and re-evaluate my priorities as a designer, creator and small business owner. I gave myself permission to rest, recharge and enjoy the little things. I turned my attention to many of my non-jewelry related interests, such as knitting, crochet and needlepoint, visiting museums and traveling. (You can read more about it here.)
This shift left me rejuvenated, and by the fall I was full of inspiration for the Fall/Winter collection, brimming with excitement for these new pieces!
I welcomed 2025 by reflecting on this enthusiasm, thinking more deeply about how the past year informed the collection, so I could harness that energy and use it for upcoming Spring/Summer designs. (Can’t wait to reveal these soon!)
The Inspiration
The Fall/Winter 2024 collection included bracelets and necklaces in new styles, as well as classic earrings in new colorways, all of which were heavily influenced by revisiting my love for art.
I have always been deeply inspired by modern art, but especially artists like Andy Warhol, Mark Rothko and Ellsworth Kelly, with their bold use of color and simple, yet compelling, composition. Their use of serial images, graphic and geometric patterns, and color blocking allows color to become the focus.

It only occurred to me recently that the jewelry I design is so heavily influenced by these same principles: constrained by the singular nature of rope-like beadwork, I’m constantly forced to combine colors and patterns in new ways. Repetition is inevitable, yet each piece can be unique. Using new colors and combining them in different ways is the key to keeping Park & Lex jewelry fresh.
It was amazing to discover I’ve been applying lessons from my favorite artists for years to my own designs without even realizing it!
The Collection
For Fall/Winter, I really wanted to offer something new that could be very easily worn with other pieces in your personal Park & Lex collections. Many of you have become experts in layering our gemstone beads; I love seeing your bracelet stacks, necklace combinations, and ways of pairing earrings with other pieces.
Necklaces
If you’re familiar with Park & Lex jewelry, you know how often I use a “pop” of a contrasting color in almost every necklace. It’s a statement about always expecting the unexpected, finding surprises everywhere, and having fun even when you’re supposed to be serious. These are fundamental ideals I hold close.
But, sometimes you don’t need an unexpected surprise. Sometimes you want to wear something simple, layerable and understated. That’s what this collection is for.
New Tonal Necklaces are a hybrid of our Long Necklaces with an Accent Color and Color Block Necklaces. They’re somewhere in between: color blocked but with fewer colors and sections. The shorter length makes them easy to layer and there’s no big contrast in color to have to consider when pairing.
These necklaces are perfect if you want something more subtle in your collection, and/or if you love to layer.
And for those of you who prefer to be bold, two new Rainbow Section Necklaces rounded out the group!

Earrings
I love how perfect beaded rings are for earrings - the way they sparkle when they move, the beautiful simplicity of their shape, their light weight. For the Fall/Winter collection, I wanted to retain the design of our existing earrings while offering new colors and gemstones.
Though we’re in colder months, usually associated with darker colors, I chose lighter and brighter tones to liven up your winter wardrobe. There’s a balance between everyday styles in smooth gemstones in earthy tones, and faceted sparkly gemstones to wear when dressed for holiday parties or nights out.
As always, all styles are available in your choice of ear wire or ball post, and can be customized in any color.

Bracelets
I think our new polka dot bracelet pairs are the star of the show this season! Here you can really see the influence graphic patterns, serial images and positive/negative colorways have on my designing.
Polka dots are fun and timeless. They’re feminine and refined, while also being lively and colorful. They represent the perfect balance of seriousness and lightness.
The six colorways in this collection can be purchased together for the perfect pairing - light with dark dots, dark with light dots - or individually. Either together or on their own, they will make a fun addition to your stack!
